At Allglass® / Autoglass® we prefer to repair your existing windscreen before replacing it with a new one, usually saving you both time and money. Sometimes, the type, size and position of the damage will mean that a repair is not possible and the Windscreen will need to be replaced. Modern windscreens are made of two layers of glass with a tough layer of film in between. This means that your windscreen will rarely collapse. As a fully mobile service, you don’t need to drive to us for your repair/replacement, we can come to you at a time and place of your choosing. Book your appointment online now.
The technician assigned to your job will ring the number you specify in your booking between 08:30am and 10:00am on the morning of your appointment and confirm the estimated time of arrival and completion of work.
Our lifetime warranty on workmanship is nationwide and you are covered as long as you own the vehicle. At Allglass® / Autoglass® we do everything possible to get things right first time, every time. However, problems can occasionally occur and if one does, we will act quickly to put matters right. Our technicians cannot complete repairs or replacements in the rain it affects the quality of our work. We need a covered space such as a carport or garage. Both the passenger and drivers doors need to be under cover when opened for the technician to work on your vehicle. In the event that your appointment has been scheduled on a rainy day and you do not have sufficient cover or you cannot travel to a branch, the branch will contact you to reschedule. Alternatively, you can contact our customer contact centre on 01-4090900 and one of representatives will arrange your appointment at the next available time.
Our Technicians are trained to the highest international standards. Every Allglass® / Autoglass® Technician holds either ATA or NVQ accreditation. As well as this all our depots are AA audited and approved.
Usually, you can drive away one hour after a front windscreen or rear window replacement, or immediately after a windscreen repair or side window replacement.
Our technicians use the best materials, including the industry’s first adhesive with a one-hour drive-away time for windscreen installations. The technician will advise you if any additional time is required.
Simply put, the cost will depend on three main factors:
- The type of damage e.g. a chip or a crack
- The piece of glass that is damaged e.g. the windscreen or side window
- If your vehicle insurance covers you for glass damage
